One of the next year's largest blueberry events will be held in Poland

The International Blueberry Organization (IBO) revealed that the next edition of the IBO Summit will take place in Lublin, Poland, from 3-5 July, 2023.
The event will feature trips to some of the world’s largest blueberry production sites, such as Ochoża blueberry farm, the Karczmiska Blueberry Factory test farm, Polskie Jagody Producer Organization, and Wilczewscy Blueberry Farm (optionally).
The aim of the summit is to share experiences between professionals, emphasizing on how blueberry production can be further improved and consumption levels increased.
Poland has been producing blueberries for 45 years now. Today, the planted area is around 11.000 hectares which brings up to 55.000 tons every year. A large proportion of the yield is destined for export.
The IBO is an international organization uniting leaders from the blueberry industry, including producers, marketers, social groups, affiliated business, and governmental organizations around the world.
