Belgian fresh produce supplier announces collaboration with agritech startup

Special Fruit NV is a Belgian company which specializes in sustainable fresh produce sourcing and delivery, announced its partnership with Agrinorm. The worldwide trader of fruit and vegetables plans to collect data about the produce quality and freshness upstream the supply chain and consequently provide a broader service to its customers and reduce costs at the same time.  

Special Fruit NV was established in 1990 by François Maes and now is led by CEO Bert Barmans. The company is devoted to Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives such as the Sustainability Initiative Fruit and Vegetable (SIFAV). It constantly searches for new solutions that will let the company focus on quality control in new ways utilizing the cutting-edge technology. This is why partnership with Agrinorm emerged.
