Pears sales nosedive at all times low in Ukraine

Based on the recent data, sales volumes of pears have dramatically skid down this season in Ukraine. According to the local specialists’ preliminary estimation, approximately 150 000 tons of pears were sold out in Ukraine in season 2015 – 6% less comparing to the previous season volumes. Market crash could be traced to poor yield of pears and this year significant import volumes decrease. Official data proves that record downturn of demand for pears has been registered in season 2015 within local market of Ukraine. This factor led to remarkable drop of sales rates of pears imported to Ukraine this season.
