Ahold will extend its stores AH To Go in Germany

The Dutch retail chain Ahold plans to enter the German market with its stores AH To Go next year.

 
After its expansion in Belgium, Ahold wants to expand in Germany in 2012 with similar stores to AH To Go.

 
The Directorate of Ahold has confirmed that the company is looking to open outlets in West Germany in the second half of 2012. Germany is one of the most competitive markets in Europe, but the Company believes that in the area of local stores, there are still places available.

 
Ahold said that the stores are increasing in Europe and in the United States where Ahold increased its market share. In the two sides of the Atlantic, customers are increasingly sensitive to quickness and quality service. Also the company must adapt to the situation and seize these opportunities.
