Positive development of Spanish exports

Spanish exports of fruits and vegetables has increased since the beginning of the year.
During the first 3 quarters of 2012 Spanish exports of fruits and vegetables increased by 10.5% in value and 7.4% by volume. According to the data processed by FEPEX, Spanish exports recorded a total of € 6.773 million and 7.8 million tons.
Fruit exports increased 12% to a value of €4.042 million and 9% in volume to 4.8 million tons. Vegetable exports
rose by 8.5% to 2.691 million in value and 5% in volume to 3 million tons.
Main destinations: the European Union receives 92% of Spanish exports. Germany imported € 1.549 million (+13%), France 1.320 million € (+13%), the Netherlands € 586 million (+18%), the United Kingdom € 871 million (+2% ).
