New studies confirm the benefits of F & V consumption.
Recent scientific studies confirm the benefits of F & V consumption, promoting cognitive performance and avoiding premature death from cardiovascular disease.

A study has just been published in The Journal of Nutrition. The researchers worked on a panel of 3,231 men and women who were followed for 25 years. Finally, several tests were used to measure cognitive function. According to scientists there is a significant correlation between the consumption of vegetables (except for potatoes) of fruit (with the exception of fruit juices) and better cognitive performance.

Another study found that many deaths from cardiovascular disease would be preventable. The results, presented at Nutrition 2019, the annual meeting of the American Society for Nutrition, indicate that about 1 out of 7 cardiovascular deaths is due to insufficient fruit consumption, or about 1.8 million deaths, while 1 in 12 could be attributed to not eating enough vegetables, about 1 million deaths.
