The Senegal wants to improve its exports

The year 2014 has enabled Senegal to reach a record for exports of Fruits & Vegetables .

Senegal has exported 87,000 tons of Fruit & Vegetables in 2014. This is the best performance ever by the ministry in charge of exports. Now the country is trying to achieve 150,000 tons in 2017.

Up to this date, the authorities hope that Senegal reach food self-sufficiency . The projections are advanced state of notables such as + 30% for the production of rice and 350 000 tonnes expected for onion production .
