All industry professionals will gather for the congress.
The IV Congreso Internacional del Mango Ecuatoriano will be held in Guayaquil.
The Congress will take place on August 30 and 31 at Hotel Oro Verde Guayaquil (Ecuador) and act as a meeting point between producers, exporters and marketers.
Many foreign participants are expected
, particularly from Mexico, Israel, Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Chile, Uruguay and the United States.
Ecuador exported 10 million boxes of mangoes for the 2011-2012 season for a turnover of around US$25 million. Its main competitors are Brazil and Peru.
