F. Log : Chile will maintain its leadership

Chilean organizations ASOEX FEDEFRUTTA believe that the current season will confirm the country's return to its leadership position in the southern hemisphere regarding exports. 

After a difficult 2013/14 season, with disastrous weather conditions that reduced harvests and exports, the 2014/15 season should be very positive.

New markets have been opened, the weather has been very mild for productions. The crops are abundant (table grapes, apples, blueberries, cherries) and strong growth in exports is recorded especially for cherries and blueberries.
