According to Reuters, Ilya Espino de Marotta, deputy administrator of the Panama Canal Authority (ACP), said that the ACP did not expect any changes to the current restrictions on ship transits until April-May.
Water levels will be assessed again at that time. In Panama, the dry season generally runs from January to April, and the rainy season from May to December.
