Significant increases in exports of Chilean apples, plums and onions

Brazil ranked as the third most important destination for Chilean exports unrelated to copper and lithium, reaching US$ 1.429 billion in the first six months of the year, according to ProChile's Market Intelligence Department.
Brazil positioned itself as the third most important destination for Chilean non-copper and non-lithium exports, reaching US$ 1.429 billion in the first six months of the year, according to ProChile's Market Intelligence Department. This represents an increase of 9.3% compared to the same period in 2023, receiving 6.34% of total global shipments. Exports of fresh fruit stand out in particular, with a 63.6% growth compared to the previous year.
Brazil ranks third in the ranking of total shipments, surpassed only by China (US$ 5,103 million) and the United States (US$ 4,782 million).
The report shows significant increases in exports of fresh apples (US$ 51 million, +127.3%), fresh plums (US$ 27 million, +42%) and fresh onions (US$ 27 million, +999.2%).
