Panama exports pineapples to Curaçao
VU
Some 1.680 boxes of fresh pineapple of the MD2 variety were exported from Panama to Curaçao (Caribbean Islands). The shipment was made through the Panamanian company Fruits and Pineapple.
This activity was carried out as a result of the trade mission organized by the National Directorate for Export Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MICI).
According to Eric Dormoi, National Director of Export Promotion, most countries in the region are unaware of the productive capacity and exportable supply of Panama, and it is an ideal time for the country to take advantage of its geographical position and offer neighboring markets products agro-industrial, agricultural, industrial and sea products.
