It's the peak season of the export of Turkish figs!
Turkey is the world's largest exporter of black figs and at the Asia Fruit Logistica trade show the Turkish company AKSUN Tarımsal Ürünler A.Ş is particularly featuring figs on its stand Hall 3c / N28.
AKSUN Tarımsal ürünler A.Ş began exporting Fresh Fruits & Vegetables in 1989. Having a wide range of products, AKSUN can supply 47 different products in a wide range (from 250g to 1 ton), both conventional and organic, and can respond to customer requests with its custom production and its own packaging lines.
AKSUN exports more than 20,000 tonnes of citrus fruit in the 6-month season. Summer fruits like watermelons, apricots, berries, grapes and figs. The export season for figs is from early August to mid-October. Figs and in particular the Bursa Black variety is becoming more and more popular in international markets. Especially in Europe where the demand for this variety has increased considerably.
The company exports to Europe, America, Australia, Russia and Asia by road, sea and air.
