ProChile celebrites its 40th anniversary

ProChile , dedicated to the promotion of Chilean products on international markets organization recently celebrated its 40 years of existence.

A ceremony attended by the President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, officially celebrated the anniversary of ProChile. The organization was established in 1974 in a much more closed economic environment, presents a largely positive.

Chile has signed 23 trade agreements with 61 countries which together account for 93.8 % of Chilean export market . In 40 years the value of exports increased by 58 times and in the past 21 years, total exports increased by 600% from 10 million USD in 1993 to 76,600,000 USD in 2013.

ProChile now wants to involve more companies in Chile (only on 3600 197 000 export ) and will continue to explore the markets . Among the projects, ProChile will open an office in 2015 in South Africa . Another office in Morocco should also open in partnership with other countries of the Pacific Alliance. Project also in trade negotiations with Indonesia.
