ASPARAGUS DAYS at Cesena Fiera, the event for a 360° vision of the asparagus world

Speakers from China, Peru, France, Germany, Mexico, Switzerland and Italy will participate in ASPARAGUS DAYS at Cesena Fiera on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 October. Four major events are scheduled, hosted in the renovated conference rooms, to discover the world of asparagus: global production, novelty in culture, international trade strategies, organic, retail and general markets.

The round table on "The situation and evolution of asparagus in the world" will be held Tuesday, October 16 at 9:30am. Beginning with 2 interventions on the situation and evolution in China, then will continue by the country's leading exporter, Peru. The session will end with Christian Befve on "New techniques for growing asparagus". In the afternoon, another round table on "The news of the culture of asparagus", interventions on "Irrigation of asparagus" and "European financial means to support asparagus".

 

 

 

On Wednesday, October 17 at 9:30am, the session will be dedicated to "Commercial Asparagus Strategies". With the presentation of several case studies: in Germany, Italy, Mexico, France. In the afternoon the round table on "Asparagus for the market: conventional product, organic, biodynamic" will have a focus on "The consumption of asparagus in Italy and Europe".

 

 

 

During these 2 days, an exhibition space will present the latest novelties of the sector. ASPARAGUS DAYS are organized by Euro Exhibition Services in the Cesena Fiera Exhibition Center. The event is the result of a collaboration with Christian Befve, one of the world's leading experts in asparagus, and Luciano Trentini, also an expert in the fruit & vegetable sector.
