Initially scheduled for May and postponed due to COVID-19, the first exports of Venezuelan fruits left for Iran.
As part of trade relations and the economic complementarity of Venezuela and Iran, Iranian ships arrived with additives and gasoline to meet Venezuelan gasoline demand. Venezuelan tropical fruits have left for Iran.
Casa Fresca, located in the State of Carabobo, sent to Iran more than 200,000 kg of pineapple of the Española Roja variety and more than 122,000 kg of mango of the Kent and Keitt varieties.
"We planned to start in May with air exports, then continue with sea freight. But due to the closure of air links due to COVID-19, we have just started our 1st exports by sea freight, to destination from Iran, ”said Luz Desiree Rodríguez, president and founder of Casa Fresca.
"We have identified potential customers in Asia and Europe, we expect that in a short time we will expand to these large consumption centers. Our exotic fruits meet international quality standards. Casa Fresca has made alliances with producers to achieve this excellence, not only to penetrate these international markets, but to stay there ”.
