Russia, new target for La Linea Verde
With a strong development potential, Russia is the new target for the export of La Linea Verde.
The sector of fruit and vegetables cut in Russia, and especially in the Moscow region, is considered at high potential. Last year, the Italian company underwent an expansion in the sector. The segment of fresh salads ready for use is seen as a status symbol for the Muscovites and the demand is growing.
La Linea Verde works in Russia as in previous international projects: identify a local partner with high quality standards to start a mutually beneficial partnership for the two companies. La Linea Verde has chosen the company Vegetoria to enter the Russian market. La Linea Verde plans to import Italian products with the brand DimmidiSì in the first few months, then, in the second half of 2013, start local production of fresh salads. The estimated turnover is 10 million euro in the first year of operation.
