Remarkable performance for Turkish exports which grew by 41.36% in July

Growth in value of + 24.43% over the period January-July and + 41.36% for the month of July, according to data compiled by the Assembly of Turkish Exporters and the Union of Uludag Exporters.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Turkish exports during the January-July period increased by 24.43% compared to the same period of 2019 reaching USD 1.364 billion. In July alone, exports rose by 41.36% from the same period last year, reaching USD 186.1 million.
Exports to Russia during the January-July period increased by 34.44% compared to 2019 totaling USD 463.8 million. For the month of July, exports increased by 51.72% compared to July 2019, going from 44.2 million USD to 67.1 million USD.
To Germany, exports during the period January-July increased by 12% to reach 163.4 million USD. For the month of July exports increased by 41.63% totaling 44.8 million USD. Germany alone accounts for 60% of exports to the EU. Spain, Poland, Romania and France follow in the rankings.
Exports to CIS countries have also increased significantly.
