Creation in Bologna of the association "Le donne dell'ortofrutta", in the presence of Mrs. Simona Caselli, president of the AREFLH.
With the aim of presenting innovative ideas and projects, to participate actively in sectoral communication by bringing a new feminine point of view, the Association "Le donne dell'ortofrutta" (Women of Fruits & Vegetables) comes from to be created.
The association was presented in Bologna, in the presence of Mrs. Simona Caselli, President of the AREFLH (Assembly of European Fruit, Vegetable and Horticultural Regions). It brings together 30 women, business leaders and experts from across the production chain.
The association wants to highlight this new Italian reality, women in the Fruits & Vegetables sector. In the program of the 1st activities of the association: the creation of a network, the presentation of projects and the communication with an innovative approach. A launch event is planned for next spring.
"The dell'ortofrutta deal" have chosen as president Alessandra Ravaioli, as vice-presidents Serena Pittella and Cristina Bambini, as treasurer Giulia Montanaro.
