Peruvian avocado export value exceeds $554 million until May

From January to May of 2024, Peruvian avocado exports decreased in volume and increased in value compared to the same months of 2023, reports Agrodata Perú.

During the analyzed lapse in 2024, the country exported 271,171,717 kilos of the product, worth $554,214,308.

In the same months of 2023, Peru shipped 291,678,929 kilos of avocado, for a total value of $505,504,074.

The main recipients in 2024 remain the Netherlands (35% of total value), Spain (21%), Chile (11%), the United States (7%), China (7%), the United Kingdom (6%), among other countries.
