By transforming each tree into a digital entity, it is possible for the first time to provide specific care for trees identified as "weak".
A system that provides individual data on each tree in an orchard, allowing targeted action.

SeeTree, an Israeli-based agricultural technology company, has developed the first orchard-based monitoring system, providing information on each tree.

Drones and sensors collect data that allows the creation of a "medical record" for each tree. Their state of health is represented with different colors on a map viewing the orchard. By transforming each tree into a digital entity, it is possible for the first time for farmers to visit specific trees according to their state of health and to provide them with individual care.

"In commercial orchards with hundreds of thousands of units, this level of information is unprecedented," says Barak Hachamov, co-founder and president of SeeTree.

The system was first launched for citrus orchards in California. The company is based in Tel Aviv and has offices in California and Brazil. It employs 40 people, including global experts in artificial intelligence and agronomy.
