The Munich wholesale market is 100 years old

1912-2012: the wholesale market of the city of Munich is 100 years old.

Located in the Sendling district on the Schäftlarnstraße the wholesale market is at the same site since it opened in 1912. Easily accessible by its proximity to the expressway, the wholesale market has not been moved outside the city.

It covers 310,000 m2 and about 300 companies based there. A renovation program was started in 2010 and will run until 2016.

To commemorate its 100th anniversary, an exhibition in collaboration with the Münchner Stadtmuseum will run until July 15.
