The International Federation of Agricultural Management Associations, IFAMA, will hold its next annual congress in Spain for the first time. From June 17 to 21, 2024, El Ejido, Almería, will become the epicenter of this meeting that will bring together academics, students and professionals from the agri-food sector from 80 countries. The purpose is to identify talent and train future agricultural leaders in charge of guaranteeing the nutrition of a constantly growing population.
The congress will focus on technology, human capital, and sustainability. The program will include the academic Symposium during the first two days in El Ejido, the Business Forum during the following two days in Almería and the practical case competition among students, a competition that will take place throughout the congress and will offer attendees a comprehensive vision of how scientific research complements agribusiness. The last day will be dedicated to a visit to the agricultural heart of the province.
