The Del Monte Pacific Ltd.'s production has reached 750 000 tonnes of pineapples.
20% increase in the volume of produced pineapples by Del Monte Pacific Ltd., the producer and industrialist who disclosed its data for the current fiscal year.
Del Monte Pacific's chief operating officer said the production volume reached 750,000 tonnes, 20% more than the previous year and more than 60% compared to 10 years ago. Of this total, about 600 000 tonnes of pineapple were used for canning and 150 000 tonnes for fresh produce.
The company is still planning further development over the next 5 years, with a further increase in production and construction of a new plant.
