Hoogstraten has sold 25 million kilos of strawberries

Hoogstraten has reached a record last week by selling 25 million kilos of strawberries.
Veiling Hoogstraten increased its revenue and has established a new record for the sale of strawberries.
Its turnover has reached 150 million Euros, and the season is not quite finished. Last week, Hoogstraten has made another record, reaching the 25 million kilos of strawberries sold.
Nearly 65% of strawberries are exported. Important markets are Scandinavia, France and Russia.
The marketing of strawberries represents more than 50% of its turnover, 30% for tomatoes and peppers about 15%.
