Value of Peruvian orange exports exceeds $12 million in 2023

In 2023, exports of Peruvian oranges reached 23,552,061 kilograms, valued at $12,491,145, according to the Agrodata portal.

 

These figures show a significant increase compared to the 10,870,728 kilograms exported during 2022, valued at $4,697,029.

 

The main destination for these shipments in 2023 was the Netherlands, where sales of $7,772,110 were achieved, representing 62% of Peruvian citrus exports. In second place was the United Kingdom with $1,777,881, followed by the Dominican Republic with $838,668, the United States with $659,489, Panama with $517,617, Sweden with $207,058, Spain with $209,371, Colombia with $96,416 and other destinations with smaller amounts, which together totaled $412,534.
