Peru, China and Chile are the top three grape exporting countries

The world's top 3 exporters are expected to be Peru with around 525,000 tonnes, China with 490,000 tonnes and Chile with 480,000 tonnes (Photo: indiamart.com).
For the 5th year running, world table grape production is set to rise again, to 28.1 million tonnes. But global exports are set to fall to 3.5 million tonnes.
A FAS (Foreign Agricultural Service) report issued by the USDA, the US Department of Agriculture, predicts that for the 2023/24 marketing year, world production should increase again (+150,000 tonnes) to reach 28.1 million, while exports should fall (-200,000 tonnes) to reach 3.5 million.
The world's top 3 exporters are expected to be Peru, with exports of around 525,000 tonnes and production expected to reach 776,000 tonnes. In 2nd place is China, with 490,000 tonnes exported and production expected to reach 13.5 million tonnes. In 3rd place is Chile, with 480,000 tonnes exported and production expected to reach 635,000 tonnes.
