9th International Festival of Tulips

This is a popular event for tourists and inhabitants of Istanbul, with 20 million tulips of 211 varieties planted in various places and parks of the city.

The tulip is of Turkish origin. Istanbul Municipality puts its image to date using only tulips produced in Turkey and organizing numerous antistatic and others activities around the theme of the tulip.

Tulip bulbs went from an export product to an imported product and are sold in many countries.
