A quality label for Kiwi Atlantico

Kiwi Atlantico received an official quality label, an additional asset to distinguish itself on the international markets.
Kiwi Atlantico, based in Lois (Ribadumia) is the first producer of kiwis in Spain.
The company was established in 1988, after the union of 30 producers of kiwis of Galicia and Asturias, and counts 69 members today, and a production of 4300 tons of fruits.
Kiwi Atlantico received the "Galice Calidade" label, Galicia quality, what carries to 35 Galician companies and 110 different products which can raise the quality granted by the ministry of economics and Industry.
This official quality label which offers to the consumers insurance and confidence distinguishes the Galician products and could give a revival onto the national and international markets.
Worried of facilitating the fruit growth in a normal way, Kiwi Atlantico producers have little mechanized techniques of culture and use no insecticidal treatment.
