6 days record door-to-door delivery between Egypt and Holland

The Egyptian logistics company Usco Log specialized in the forwarding fresh fruit and vegetables confirms the groundbreaking achievement in Egyptian reefer logistics. “We successfully transported LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments of strawberries from three different shippers in Egypt to various receivers in the Netherlands, all within a remarkable transit time of 6 days from door-to-door” confirms Usco Log CEO Ahmed Madih. This accomplishment was made possible through the use of modified pallets and the great support from the team, along with the logistics partners at Pan Marine Group, DFDS and Med Roll Shipping & Logistics.  “Their collaboration and willingness to embrace innovation were instrumental in overcoming the challenges of this complex operation” added Ahmed. This marks a first for Egypt, enabling us to reach EU markets with greater speed and efficiency, even on a per-pallet basis. “We're excited to see how this new capability benefits Egyptian exporters and brings fresh produce to consumers faster than ever before” concluded Ahmed.
