Chiquita will close its Charlotte office

The new owners of Chiquita Brands International Inc. will close the seat installed in Charlotte ( North Carolina State ).

The Head of the Interim Management explained that this is part of the transition to a business model more simplified and streamlined . Suitable for competitive markets served. The exact date is not known but a rumor reported within less than 90 days.

Chiquita had moved from Cincinnati to Charlotte in 2012 and builded NASCAR Plaza building which houses 320 employees.
