The 2008 season will be so-so for Italian pears.
Production in Emilia Romagna is globally 27% lower than last year. This decrease reaches 50% for the Conference pears.
The lack of production is some-how compensated by a good quality and a good size of products.
Price is 20 % higher than last year.
