Sicilian oranges partner of Cancer Research

Initiative that has allowed collection of more than € 3 million.

Thanks to the initiative called "Health Oranges", AIRC (Italian Association for Research on Cancer) has collected € 3.3 million by selling 370,000 nets of Oranges of Sicily. The initiative was held Saturday, January 26, all over Italy. Thousands of volunteers sold small nets of Oranges of Sicily distributing leaflets for a healthy diet.

The success of the operation will enable AIRC to ensure continuity of research projects for three years.
