20% of Turkish fruits and vegetables exported in the EU

More than half of exports ( 55%) is made to the countries of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States ) , which includes Russia, Belarus, Armenia , Azerbaijan , Kazakhstan , Kyrgyzstan , Moldova , Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

Middle Eastern countries are in second with 22% of exports, particularly with Iraq on top.

EU countries only come in third. Germany imported 3 % of Turkish vegetables and 2 % of Turkish fruits (quantity) during the period from January to May 2015 .
