The United States will ask the World Trade Organization, for Indonesia lifts restrictions on imports.

The United States believes that Indonesia hindrance and restricted imports of US agricultural products ( apples, grapes, chickens). Exporting in Indonesia (250 million) much less than to neighboring countries where the population is smaller , the United States claims a free circulation of products.

Indonesia has hit food imports (fruits, vegetables) several restrictions since 2012. For health reasons . In addition, in January 2015 Listeria was found in a shipment of US apples.
