Ukrainian VITAGRO ambitions to play a significant role on international market

One of the leading companies in the industry is «VITAGRO», founded in 2004.

The company owns more than 60,000 hectares and increases its annual production volume every year. Starting from 2010, the group started growing fruits with minimal usage of pesticides for fresh consumption.

Today the company produces 5000 tons of apples and pears, 250 tons of blackcurrants. The volume will increase to 15.000 tons by next two years.

In 2017, “VITAGRO” will export their fruit to Arabic counties, Europe and Asia.

At present time, the exporter is actively developping collaboration with international importers.

VITAGRO implements new technologies and innovative approaches in their activity. Very powerful and modern sorting equipment was installed in 2016. It can process 14 tons per hour to the nearest gram precision.

The Ukrainian company doesn’t pursue quantitative indicators in fruits growing. Their first priority is the quality cultivation, organization of efficient production process, and providing people with work places.

Ukraine has a very big potential to export high quality fruits and vegetables to international countries in apples and pears.
