Heavy rainfall in southern Australia will lead to a decrease in potatoes production.
In South Australia, heavy rains will cause a decrease in production of potatoes.
Producers of potatoes have put the fields for irrigation after years of drought . This year, heavy rainfalls have disrupted harvests and led to quality problems in development of potatoes but also for other, problems with rot. Professionals estimate that production will be down by at least 20%.
