The 2012 campaign was good in Spain after three challenging years, difficult in Italy and disastrous in France during the second half of the season. One thing has emerged: the distribution of melons positioned as quality products is lacking .
How best to prevent
market crises? How to better use the product? An answer is the implementation of a European promotion that emphasises the quality of different melons Piel de Sapo for Spain, cantaloupe for France, for example, for both the domestic market and for export.
This perspective will be studied by each delegation at MEDFEL in Perpignan (from 22 to 24 April 2013).
