Exports to receive more support

The initiative, which was launched at Bomarts Farms Limited at Nsawam in the Eastern Region, is a collaboration between the Ghana Standards Board (GSB) and the Trade and Investment Programme for Competitive Export (TIPCE), a programme by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The objective of the exercise is to support the pineapple industry to institute an inspection regime to enhance the quality of pineapples produced in the country for export. According to him, Ghana's Cayenne pineapple variety had lost appeal on the international market.
