Export prospects remain positive

Despite the health crisis affecting many importing countries, professionals in Costa Rica have not noticed any decline in pineapple exports.

 

 

 

Countries hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic like Spain and Italy continue to import fresh fruit. According to Cámara Nacional de Productores de Piña, the outlook remains positive even if there are setbacks with certain countries which are experiencing a tourist decline.

 

 

 

For other countries, such as the United States, shipments have normal volumes.
