Poland is the leading raspberries producer in the world

According to the latest data, Poland is recognized as the biggest producer of raspberries among other countries of the world.

 

Last year’s figures of total amount of raspberries grown by polish producers are considered to be the record ones – 130 000 tons.

 

These numbers exceed previous season’s figures by 7,9 %. High quality of raspberries produced in Poland is the result of favorable climate conditions, good soil and agricultural technologies. Mass production of fall-bearing raspberries able to bear fruits on the 1^st

year cane is considered to become the turning point in this part of fruit production business in Poland.
