Andalusia expects increased citrus production

citrus production in Andalusia will increase 4.2%.
The Andalusia region is expected to increase its production of citrus.
Judit Anda, Secretary-General of Agriculture and Food and citrus industry representatives unveiled the production estimates and for the 2012-2013 season, Andalusia should produce 1.6 million tons of citrus. This represents an increase of 4.2% over
2011-2012 and is 8.5% higher than the average of the last 4 seasons.
Estimates for the 2012-2013 campaign: 486,000 tons for the region of Huelva, 483,000 tons Sevilla, 215,000 tons Almería.
