The upward trend in Chilean blueberry exports is confirmed, with in particular a 42% increase in volumes shipped to Asian markets.
According to the latest report from the Arándanos de ASOEX Committee, during the 51st week, the increase in blueberry exports was confirmed, with 10,686 tonnes. The total accumulated on this date is 38,093 tonnes, 4% more than the previous season in the same week.
All markets received more fruit, particularly the Far Eastern countries, which is the market that has grown the most, with a 42% increase in shipments (2,300 tonnes).
Only the North American market fell 4% compared to last season (830 tonnes). Regarding frozen fruit, shipments reached 2,643 tonnes, 46% more than in 2018.
