Our country manager for Australia sends us market news from down under. The Brisbane wholesale market will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year - it was officially opened on 26th August 1964. The grape season is now beginning in Australia. The stone fruit season has not been an outstanding one, with many small grade produce. The brown onion season has recently begun and looks promising. The white onion season has now ended, with lower production volumes than usual.
