Blueberry exports rise 26% year-over-year

In week 41, Peru exported 17.256 tons of fresh blueberries, which means a 1% decrease compared to week 40, and an increase of 26% compared to week 41 of previous season.
Shipments to all destinations have increased: the United States rose by 24% year-over-year, totaling 87.863 tons, of which 8.981 tons were sent in week 41, which means an increase of 18% compared to week 41 of last season.
Meanwhile shipments to Europe grew 41% compared to the previous season, totaling 42.443 tons, of which 4.901 tons were exported in week 41, which means an increase of 33% compared to week 41 of the previous year.
China has received 38% more than in the previous campaign, totaling 25.421 tons of which 2.426 tons were sent in week 41, a great increase of 106% compared to week 41 of the previous season.
Regarding organic blueberry shipments, in week 41, Peru sent 1.710 tons, +13% compared to week 41 of the previous campaign, totaling 20.900 tons so far in the current campaign.
