The Tree Top cooperative was formed in 1960 in the heart of Washington’s apple country in Selah. Initially growers came together to find a way to save ugly and excess fruits.
Nowadays, cooperative saves more than 800 million pounds of fruit each year. Apples and pears still remain their primary focus, but now cooperative is able to process all types of fruits.
