Oranges harvest can increase of 22%

The next harvest, which will begin in October, looks much better than the forecasts.
After frosts of January which planned the worst for the oranges harvests of Florida, the situation improves.
Florida, 2nd producer of oranges to the world, produced 133,6 million boxes of oranges in 2009-2010.
The last estimations state 163 million boxes waited for the harvest which begins in October, that is an increase of 22 %.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture raised its estimate three times since the freeze of January.
Growers picked 162.5 million boxes in the 2008-2009 season and 170.2 million a year earlier, according to the USDA.
