Upward trend in tomato prices

Price of B tomatoes increased already to 13 – 14 PLN (3.17-3.41 euro)/carton of 6 kg and price of BB tomatoes to 15 – 16 PLN (3.66-3.90 euro)/carton.

 

 

Although the export of tomatoes is small due to the high prices and the majority of tomatoes is sold on the domestic market, the supply of tomatoes on the market is still low.

 

 

In the near future the situation rather won't change and one can expect that prices of tomatoes will leave at the similar level.
