Russia stop import of Spanish paprika

State veterinary and vegetal control Service in Russia announced ban on import Spanish paprika to the country because of using pesticides harmful to the health of consumers.
There was no information from when the ban will take effect.
Spanish paprika takes second place in import from Spain after the tomatoes.
The Spanish Growers Organisation awaits positive solution to this problem when Russia becomes a member of WTO.
The volume of paprika export from Spain to Russia increased more than 200% in 2006.
