Despite the challenging world scenario in terms of logistics, inflation, rising costs and markets with a greater quantity of fruit, the current Chilean kiwi season has already accumulated some 77.656 tons exported, according to the latest Report of the Chilean Kiwi Committee.
Europe is the main recipient (excluding Russia, which received 3.165 tons) with a 33% share of total shipments (25.742 tons), followed by North America with 21% (16.199 T) and Latin America with 19% (14.704 T).
In fourth position is the Far East with 17% (13.484 T), followed by the Middle East with 6% (4.363 T).
Hayward is the main variety exported (95%), followed by Dori (1.176 T) and Jintao (1.044 T).
